Here's what's happening in February on my weekly radio show, Adventures in Sound:

Feb 6: Special two hour show (from 1 to 3 p.m.) Salute to Chess Records, with all of the superstars (Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, etc.) featured. Plus equally great sides from Elmore James, Johnny Shines, Hound Dog Taylor & more.
Feb 13: A very happy birthday show for my lovely wife, Erica. An hour of Beatnik and Beat era recordings. Everything from How to Speak Hip to Jack Kerouac.
Feb 20: A look at the 1960s folk-rock boom, with the big names (Dylan, They Byrds, The Beatles, etc.) along with the lesser known talents ( such as Fred Neil and Mimi & Richard Farina).
Feb 27: The first weekend of KOOP's Spring 2010 Membership Drive. Please show your support for Adventures in Sound (and community radio).
